The conference room required seating for ten users. The space needed a marker board, a credenza for beverage service, office supplies storage, a projector, and a control panel for A/V. It is also essential for a conference room to have adequate acoustic privacy. To fulfill that goal, I specified felt tiles in the company's brand colors to cover one of the walls adjacent to other offices. I also designed a tray ceiling with recessed LED around the inverted perimeter to maximize general lighting.

Project Reflection
Guided by the principles of barrier-free design, the structure includes plentiful circulation throughout. The conference room and private offices are located close to the entrance for convenient visitor access. The ADA bathrooms are centrally positioned and facing inward to enhance accessibility and privacy. The back of the building shell will house powered workstations with abundant daylight. The open floor plan and glass partitions highlight the company's transparent culture. Felt tiles in the company colors enhance acoustical privacy in the private offices and add a futuristic aesthetic.
